I'm a self-taught PHP developer with a hungry brain. I need to create things and I use opensource for all the things! I've contributed to projects like Joomla (currently top 28 contributor), Prestashop & Twitter Bootstrap.
I enjoy creating & managing development teams improving the workflow and tools used. Setup healthy development environments to then teach (and learn!) junior devs to get them on board.

Lead a team of 5 developers to maintain and improve a multisite application for lawyer firms.
I joined the company for second time to convert an old content-management tool into a full CCK for Joomla focused on mixing content with marketing tools in the same tool. The result is Aesir.
My role was to lead the conversion process taking the architectural decisions and managing a team of 5 developers.
Development of custom extensions for Joomla. Integration of OpenCart and support for other ecommerce systems based on Joomla like Hikashop Integration and customisation of Bootstrap 2.3.2 & Bootstrap 3 templates. Speaker in online hangouts for desarrolloweb.com mostly focused on ecommerce systems, Joomla, PHP best practices & Agile solutions. Contributed to projects like Joomla (top 25 world contributor), Twitter Bootstrap & Prestashop.
Production Leadership Team was one the three teams (35 people from around the world) managing the Joomla! CMS & Joomla Framework.
My role was helping to manage contributions through Github and to ease the process of contributing to Joomla. It allowed me to speak at international events to show the goodness of Joomla and to become mentor of the Google Summer of Code for Joomla.
Coordination of an international team of 29 developers from 10 different countries. Agile methodology implementation based on JIRA. Coding standards setup and use. Get developers using tools like git, time tracking, tests. Development of a custom framework for the company with connections with Doctrine & Symfony2 packages.
